Yesterday in NYC felt like a Zombie Apocalypse:
The night of March 12th, lines were so long to checkout for groceries, my favorite tuna to put on crackers as a midnight snack was sold out for the first time ever, and on the 13th every nightlife venue was closed.
Living candidly means you put 2 & 2 together after the fact, and at the end of the night when doing the math, I realized last night was a double-whammy for society; the Coronavirus was declared a national emergency & it was the day and number of the week that most consider to be “bad luck.”
I woke up on this morning of the 14th, did some research, and am very glad I took on the City during the Zombie Apocalypse with my cousin & partner in crime 😉
Due to a preference to not preach religion and a certain point of view, I leave it up to the reader of my blurb to take it, leave it, or even better; look further into it as a form of independent research and enlightenment.
Friday the 13th was a Spiritually Awakening experience, one of many. A month later, during the social-distancing and home-quarantine era, after finally updating plug-ins on my site which allow blog posts to upload; I’m finally able to post my thoughts on the meaning of the “unlucky day” when I smoked my first cigar and had my last outing in the now desolate “City that Never Sleeps.”
